A Toolkit for Creating Radically Inclusive Grassroots Events

June 30, 2023

(English version)

This free toolkit provides guidance on creating radically inclusive grassroots events, featuring insights from organising an international virtual conference on trans health.

The toolkit includes guidance on core principals, such as prioritising accessibility and individuals from the global majority, and a step-by-step guide to running a successful inclusive event. It was developed by the Transgender Professional Association of Transgender Health (TPATH) and commissioned by EDIS.

The English version of the toolkit can be accessed as a PDF here.

Using the TPATH Toolkit to create radically inclusive grassroots events. #TPATHToolkit 1. Read over the core principals and think about how you can apply each one to your event. 2. Look at th diagram outlining the steps to a virtual event and consider how you can use this process when organising your own event. 3. Use the step-by-step guide to break down each element of organising your event and consider how it can be made inclusive. 4. Check out the recommended software platforms and resources to inform your decision-making.
